Online Quran Classes in Canada

Learn Quran Global teaches Canadian families through live one-to-one classes — students in Toronto, Mississauga, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver study with us. Classes are private, held on Zoom or Google Meet, and arranged around school terms and working hours.

Time-zone friendly scheduling

Canada spans six time zones, which makes flexible scheduling more important here than almost anywhere else. Our teachers are based in Pakistan (UTC+5, no daylight saving) and classes run 24 hours a day, so every Canadian time zone is covered.

Worked examples: a 7:00am class in Toronto is 5:00pm in Pakistan, and a 7:00pm evening class in Toronto is 5:00am in Pakistan. For British Columbia, a 6:00pm class in Vancouver is 7:00am the next morning in Pakistan. Calgary, Winnipeg, Halifax, and St John's each sit at their own offset, and your teacher will confirm the exact conversion for your city.

Pakistan does not change its clocks, so the gap shifts by one hour when Canada moves on and off daylight saving. Your slot stays at the same local time — the adjustment is handled at our end.

Quran classes for kids

Children can start from around age four. Canadian school days typically end mid-afternoon, so after-school classes are the most common arrangement, with weekend sessions for families who prefer a longer weekly lesson.

Students learn Quran reading through Noorani Qaida, then Tajweed, alongside memorisation of short Surahs. Because lessons are one-to-one, the pace matches the child rather than a class. Teachers are fluent in English, which matters for children who speak English at school and at home and may not follow instruction in Arabic or Urdu. Parents receive progress updates directly from the teacher.

One-to-one live classes

Students receive direct teacher attention for Quran reading, Tajweed, Noorani Qaida, Hifz, and revision.

Female Quran teachers

Female teachers are available for women, girls, and younger children. Ustadha Fatima Ahmed and Ustadha Aisha Rahman teach female students — mention this when booking and it will be arranged.

Payments

Fees are charged in US dollars, not Canadian dollars. Monthly plans range from $33 to $60 depending on the course. Your bank or card provider converts the charge to CAD at their own exchange rate, the same as any other international USD purchase. Credit card, debit card, PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer, and Remitly are all accepted. The trial class is free and requires no payment details, and a 7-day money-back guarantee applies once classes begin.

Frequently asked questions

Which Canadian time zones do you cover?

All of them. Classes run 24 hours a day, so Newfoundland, Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific times are all covered — including early-morning and late-evening slots.

What is the time difference between Canada and Pakistan?

Pakistan is UTC+5 with no daylight saving. Toronto is 10 hours behind in winter and 9 hours behind in summer; Vancouver is 13 hours behind in winter. A 7:00pm class in Toronto is 5:00am in Pakistan.

Am I charged in Canadian dollars or US dollars?

You're charged in US dollars. Your bank or card converts this to CAD at their standard exchange rate — the same as any other international USD purchase. Credit card, debit card, PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer, and Remitly are all accepted, and the trial class is free with no card required.

Can classes fit around the school day?

Yes. Most Canadian families book an after-school slot, though morning classes before school and weekend sessions are equally available.

Do you have female Quran teachers?

Yes. Female teachers are available for women, girls, and younger children. Request this when you book your free trial.

Does the schedule change in Ramadan?

Classes continue on the same schedule. If you would like to move your usual time during Ramadan, arrange it directly with your teacher.
