Online Quran Classes in the UAE

Learn Quran Global teaches families across the UAE through live one-to-one classes — students in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah study with us. The UAE has one of the largest South Asian communities anywhere, and many of the families we teach are Pakistani, Indian, or Bangladeshi households where the children attend English-medium schools. Lessons are private, on Zoom or Google Meet, and arranged around the school day.

Time-zone friendly scheduling

This is the easiest market we teach into. Our teachers are based in Pakistan (UTC+5) and the UAE is UTC+4 — a difference of just one hour. Neither country observes daylight saving, so that gap never changes.

In practice it means a class at any reasonable hour for you is a reasonable hour for your teacher too. A 4:00pm class in Dubai is 5:00pm in Pakistan. An 8:00pm class is 9:00pm. There is no early-morning or late-night compromise on either side, and no seasonal recalculation.

The UAE is the only Gulf state on a Saturday-Sunday weekend, having moved from Friday-Saturday in January 2022. Schools run Monday to Friday with a shortened Friday, typically finishing between 2:00pm and 3:00pm, and by noon on Friday. That makes late-afternoon weekday classes and Saturday-Sunday sessions the natural slots.

During Ramadan, UAE working hours are reduced by two hours and schools shorten to roughly 8:00am to 1:00pm. Classes continue on the same schedule, and if you would prefer a different time during that month you can arrange it directly with your teacher.

Quran classes for kids

Children can start from around age four. Islamic Studies is a compulsory subject for Muslim students in UAE private schools, so most children here already have some grounding — what one-to-one classes add is recitation accuracy, which a classroom of thirty cannot provide.

Around nine in ten students in the UAE attend private schools, mostly English-medium following British, Indian, American, or IB curricula. That means many children study Arabic as a school subject but speak English at home. Our teachers are fluent in English, so explanations land clearly regardless of what the child speaks day to day.

Students learn Quran reading through Noorani Qaida, then Tajweed, with memorisation alongside. Because classes are individual, a child who is ahead of their school Islamic Studies class or behind it is taught at their own level rather than a group's.

One-to-one live classes

Students receive direct teacher attention for Quran reading, Tajweed, Noorani Qaida, Hifz, and revision.

Female Quran teachers

Female teachers are available for women, girls, and younger children. Ustadha Fatima Ahmed and Ustadha Aisha Rahman teach female students — mention this when you book your trial.

Frequently asked questions

What is the time difference between the UAE and Pakistan?

One hour. The UAE is UTC+4 and Pakistan is UTC+5, and neither observes daylight saving, so the gap never changes. A 4:00pm class in Dubai is 5:00pm for your teacher.

What times can we take classes in the UAE?

Any time. Classes run 24 hours a day, and because the time difference is only one hour, both after-school and evening slots are comfortable for teacher and student alike.

Do classes fit around the Saturday-Sunday weekend?

Yes. The UAE moved to a Saturday-Sunday weekend in January 2022, and weekend sessions are available on both days, alongside weekday classes after school finishes.

How do families in the UAE pay?

Fees are charged in US dollars. Credit card, debit card, Stripe, bank transfer, and Remitly are all accepted. The trial class is free and needs no card details.

My child already studies Islamic Studies at school. Is this different?

Yes. School Islamic Studies covers the curriculum in a class group; a one-to-one Quran class focuses on the child's own recitation, with the teacher hearing and correcting every word.

Do class times change during Ramadan?

The schedule continues as normal. School and working hours shorten across the UAE during Ramadan, so many families move their usual slot — you can arrange that directly with your teacher.
