Online Quran Classes in Qatar
Learn Quran Global teaches families in Qatar through live one-to-one classes — students in Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, and Al Khor study with us. Qatar's population is overwhelmingly expatriate, with large Indian, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani communities, and many of the families we teach have children in English-medium international schools. Lessons are private, on Zoom or Google Meet.
Time-zone friendly scheduling
Qatar is UTC+3 and our teachers are based in Pakistan at UTC+5 — a two-hour difference that never changes, since neither country observes daylight saving.
A 4:00pm class in Doha is 6:00pm in Pakistan; a 7:00pm class is 9:00pm. Both are ordinary working hours at each end, so families here are not choosing between an inconvenient time for the student and an inconvenient one for the teacher.
Qatar's week runs Sunday to Thursday with a Friday-Saturday weekend. School days finish in the early to mid afternoon, which makes late-afternoon and evening classes the natural slot, with Friday and Saturday free for longer sessions.
During Ramadan, working and school hours are reduced across Qatar. Our schedule continues unchanged, and you can move your usual time for that month by arranging it with your teacher.
Quran classes for kids
Children can start from around age four. Islamic studies is taught in Qatar's government schools, but the large international-school sector serving expatriate families follows Indian, British, American, or IB curricula, so Quran study is usually arranged outside school.
Students learn Quran reading through Noorani Qaida, then Tajweed, with memorisation of short Surahs alongside. Teachers are fluent in English, Urdu, and Arabic, which covers most of the language combinations we meet in Qatari expatriate households.
Because lessons are one-to-one, a child is taught at their own level rather than a group's — which matters particularly for families who move between countries and curricula and whose children arrive at different stages.
One-to-one live classes
Students receive direct teacher attention for Quran reading, Tajweed, Noorani Qaida, Hifz, and revision.
Female Quran teachers
Female teachers are available for women, girls, and younger children. Ustadha Fatima Ahmed and Ustadha Aisha Rahman teach female students — mention this when you book.

Are online Quran classes available in Qatar?
Yes. Students join from Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Khor, and elsewhere in Qatar. All you need is a device and an internet connection.
What is the time difference between Qatar and Pakistan?
Two hours. Qatar is UTC+3 and Pakistan is UTC+5, and neither uses daylight saving, so the gap is the same all year. A 4:00pm class in Doha is 6:00pm for your teacher.
What times are classes available?
Any time — classes run 24 hours a day. Most families in Qatar choose a late-afternoon or evening slot after school, with Friday and Saturday available for longer weekend sessions.
How do families in Qatar pay?
Fees are charged in US dollars. Credit card, debit card, Stripe, and bank transfer are accepted. The trial class is free and requires no card details.
My child is at an international school. Will the classes fit their level?
Yes. Lessons are one-to-one, so the teacher assesses where your child actually is in the trial class and starts there, regardless of what curriculum they follow at school.
Do class times change during Ramadan?
Our schedule stays the same. School and working hours shorten in Qatar during Ramadan, so many families move their usual slot — you can arrange that with your teacher.
