Online Quran Classes in USA

Learn Quran Global teaches students across the United States through live one-to-one classes. Families in New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area study with us, and the format is the same wherever you are: a private lesson with your own teacher, on Zoom or Google Meet, at a time that fits around school and work.

Time-zone friendly scheduling

Our teachers are based in Pakistan, which is UTC+5 and does not observe daylight saving. Because classes run 24 hours a day, the distance works in your favour rather than against you.

Worked examples for the Eastern time zone: a 7:00am class in New York is 5:00pm in Pakistan, and a 7:00pm evening class in New York is 5:00am in Pakistan — both are covered. For the Pacific time zone, a 6:00pm class in Los Angeles is 7:00am the next morning in Pakistan.

Note that the gap changes by one hour twice a year. Pakistan does not shift its clocks, so Eastern Time is 10 hours behind in winter and 9 hours behind during daylight saving. Your teacher tracks this so your slot stays at the same local time year-round — you never need to recalculate.

Central, Mountain, and Pacific slots are all available. Weekend classes are common for families balancing weekday school.

Quran classes for kids

Children can start from around age four. For most American families the practical pattern is a short weekday class after school, or a longer weekend session — many parents combine this with a local weekend Islamic school rather than replacing it, using the one-to-one class for recitation accuracy that a group setting cannot give.

Students learn Quran reading through Noorani Qaida, then Tajweed, with memorisation of short Surahs alongside. Because classes are individual, a child who is behind or ahead is not held to a group pace. Parents receive progress updates directly from the teacher.

One-to-one live classes

Students receive direct teacher attention for Quran reading, Tajweed, Noorani Qaida, Hifz, and revision.

Frequently asked questions

What times can we take classes in the USA?

Any time. Our teachers are in Pakistan and classes run 24 hours a day, so early-morning slots before school, after-school afternoons, and late evenings are all available across Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones.

Does the class time change when daylight saving starts?

Pakistan does not observe daylight saving, so the gap shifts by an hour twice a year — Eastern Time is 10 hours behind in winter and 9 hours behind in summer. Your teacher adjusts so your class stays at the same local time for you.

How do I pay from the United States?

You are billed in US dollars. Credit card, debit card, PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer, and Remitly are all accepted. The trial class is free and requires no card details.

Can my child take classes alongside weekend Islamic school?

Yes, and many families do exactly that. A weekly one-to-one class gives the individual recitation correction that a group class cannot, while the weekend school covers the wider curriculum and community side.

Do you have female Quran teachers for girls?

Yes. Female teachers are available for women, girls, and younger children. Request this when booking your free trial.

Do class times change during Ramadan?

The schedule stays the same. If you would like to adjust your usual slot during Ramadan — many families prefer a different time in that month — you can arrange it directly with your teacher.
